Thursday, July 1 Drunk-driving arrest — 12:51 a.m., Kainoa Kahaunaele, 20, of Kapa‘a, for operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicants and driving without a license on Kuhio Highway fronting the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kapa‘a.
Harassment arrest — 9:39 a.m., Donald S. Kagawa, 60, of Lihu‘e, for harass – ment after a lawyer said he was threatened by Kagawa in the vicinity of District Court in Lihu‘e.
Car-theft arrest — 1:22 p.m., Ikaika Kirifi, 19, of Kapa‘a and a juvenile, for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle after lifeguards at Ha‘ena Beach Park reported an operator of a vehicle and his accomplice entered a vehicle and took items at 12:08 p.m.
Drug arrest — 3:05 p.m., Ferdinand Cadiente, 19, of Lihu‘e, for thirddegree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia after an investigation in the Bank of Hawaii in Kukui Grove.
He was also arrested for seconddegree theft, after an incident in Koloa at 2 p.m., two counts of second- degree forgery, and third-degree theft after a police investigation at Hanama‘ulu Service Station at 1:02 p.m., and two counts of third-degree theft after Hanama‘ulu Service Station employees reported receiving two forged traveler’s checks on June 30.
Drunk-driving arrest — 8:42 a.m., David Ruskjer, 53, of Koloa, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicants and being in an accident involving damage to vehicle and persons after bystanders reported a car struck another vehicle and left the Foodland parking lot in Waipouli. The arrest took place fronting the Kuhio Medical Center in Lihu‘e.
Friday, July 2 Retaliating arrest — 11:05 a.m., Jeanine Dotario, 24, of Kalaheo, for retaliating against a witness after sheriffs reported having problems with a man in District Court in Lihu‘e.
Theft arrest — 5:20 p.m., Ashlee Pasion, 18, of Hanapepe, for seconddegree theft and first-degree forgery after a man reported his checks were stolen and forged by Pasion.
Drug arrest — 6:44 p.m., Cresanto Tangonan, 41, of Lihu‘e, for seconddegree promotion of a dangerous drug, third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Trespass arrest — 8:30 p.m., Paula Jo Deible, 44, of Kekaha, for seconddegree trespass after Wackenhut Security reported a woman causing a disturbance at Foodland.
