HONOLULU — An arrest was made Tuesday after a 26-year-old Makiki man was stabbed to death at an apartment complex in Waipahu.
Homicide Lt. David Kamai said the stabbing apparently stemmed from a love triangle that included the suspect’s estranged wife.
The 27-year-old woman said her 29-year-old husband moved out the apartment on Waipahu Street a week ago.
The husband returned to the unit early Tuesday morning and got into a quarrel with his wife the 26-year-old Makiki man, police said.
The victim was found in the kitchen with multiple stab wounds.
