Learn life saving skills, keep cool, enjoy a very low impact, full-body workout, meet and make new friends, but above all, just keep swimming and having fun. Classes for Mokihana Aquatics start the week of June 7 and include: Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Parent/Keiki (parent and keiki infant to 35 months old), and Tiny Tots (ages 3-4 years old). All classes will be held at the Kaua’i High School swimming pool.
Mokihana Aquatics is more than a swim club, it is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspire and enable members to achieve excellence in the sport of swimming and in life.
Along with teaching children to swim, an integral component of the class is water safety skills, including ocean awareness. As children advance in their swimming skills and get more comfortable in the water, they take more risks, thereby minimizing their potential for getting into trouble.
