Five arrested named in Koloa drug bust

The five people arrested in the dawn ice raid at the Kawailehua Housing Project in Koloa last week were identified by police officials yesterday.

They are:

  • Sheryl Marie Pimental, 32, arrested for contempt of court, possession of drug paraphernalia, and promotion of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine);
  • Yasumori A.Q. Pomaikai, 29, arrested for contempt of court, possession of drug paraphernalia, and promotion of a detrimental drug (marijuana);
  • Chanella Asuncion, 23, arrested for promotion of a detrimental drug (marijuana), promotion of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia;
  • Robin Takiguchi, 32, arrested for promotion of a detrimental drug (marijuana), promotion of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia;
  • Alicia Abergas, 26, arrested for promotion of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cindy Mei Ozaki, county public information officer, said last week Kaua‘i Police Department officials would not immediately release the names of the suspects in the bust, nor the amount of drugs seized, since there was an ongoing investigation.
