Manalani joins staff
Traci Manalani has joined the team at Century 21-All Islands at the new Kapa‘a office and is offering a new twist in how Real Estate can relate to the community.
Traci and her husband Cory as well as son Alan have been actively involved on Kaua‘i since moving here in 1996. She is now continuing in the spirit of giving through a new program to her position as a Realtor-Associate.
“My hope is to create more awareness of the great needs within our community while at the same time empowering more people to get directly involved by doing something to make a positive difference,” Manalani said.
Before becoming a Realtor-Associate with Century 21-All Islands, Traci has worked as a psychotherapist with individuals and families on Kaua‘i and has worked in human resources management.

Hochman set to purchase station
George Hochman, the founder of KITH-FM 98.9 and KTOH-FM “Hits” 99.9 on Kaua‘i, as well as the owner of one station (KONI-FM 104.7) on Mau‘i is in the process of purchasing another station on O‘ahu.
The station is KORL-AM 690 and would feature foreign-language based programming.
Currently, Hockman’s 99.9 station is the number 1 rated station on Kaua‘i according to June, July and August data provided by Eastland ratings.
The “Hits” station received a 19.9 share for those months.
Marks retires from A & B
HONOLULU — Michael J. Marks retired as Vice President and General Counsel of Alexander and Baldwin, Inc., effective Sept. 1.
This retirement marks the close of a 39-year legal career that included 28 years at A & B serving the last 23 years as the company’s general counsel.
Marks also was corporate secretary of Matson Navigation Company, Inc. until 2002 and previously had served as A & B’s corporate secretary from 1995 until 1999.
A & B is headquartered in Honolulu and is engaged in real estate development and management through its subsidiary properties and food products through Kaua‘i Coffee Company, Inc.
Pruett becomes site manager

Duo move on to Coldwell Realty
