Stan Kua, finishing with a pair of singles, also fueled the win with a pair of RBI with Jon Takamura batting a pair of singles.
Rainbow Sports outhit Hana Hou 13-10 behind an RBI driven in on three singles by Mike Shimatsu, but could not capitalize on their hits.
Norman Holt, Jr., also sharing mound duties with losing pitcher Lance Nakata, drove in a pair of RBI on a single while Davis Oshiro helped the effort with an RBI on two singles.
Wendall Nonaka finished the night with a pair of singles.
Paris Resinto picked up the win for Hana Hou with 13 hits allowed on three walks while Rainbow Sports shared pitching duties between Holt, Jr., Nakata, and Peter Ishibashi, Holt, Jr. allowing three hits on five walks, Nakata finishing with five hits on a walk, and Ishibashi closing with a pair of hits on no walks or strikeouts.
KFD 6, Hard Knocks 5
Mike Scovel drove in the winning run as KFD edged past Hard Knocks 6-5 in the second contest of the evening.
Gregg Morishige chalked up a win on the mound, allowing 11 hits on two walks with no strikeouts while Corey Rego was strapped with the loss for Hard Knocks, Rego also allowing 11 hits on two walks and no strikeouts.
David Bukoski aided the KFD win with a pair of RBI on three singles with Corey Sakai finishing with a double and a single, and Clinton Fujii rounding out the KFD hitting leaders with a pair of singles.
Kaina McCullum had the big bat for Hard Knocks with an RBI on a triple, a double, and a single with eight other players finishing with a hit apiece in the loss.
Custom Limo 15, Nogi’s 2
Sam Dias finished with six RBI on a pair of doubles and a single to lead Custom Limo to a 15-2 win over Nogi’s as losing pitcher Steven Mardonada was hit for 17 hits on a pair of walks.
Sia Salausa helped the Custom effort with an RBI on three singles with Derek Rapozo, Willie Nuivo, and Frank Bukoski each driving in an RBI on two singles each.
Scott Kouchi, Mike Soong, and Zoom Bukoski each finished with a pair of singles in the win.
Gordon Tamura, Joel Sumida, and Alton Amimoto led the Nogi’s bats with a pair of singles each in the loss.
Didi Ibia picked up the win for Custom Limo, allowing 10 hits on just a walk with no strikeouts.
