Veterans present special flag holders

KAPAIA — Boy Scouts Jordan Kahawai and Joey Higashi were inspected by Troop 83 Scoutmaster Alan Yamamoto and Frank Cruz of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Wednesday night.

The veterans organizations presented leather flag holsters to the troop by Cruz on Wednesday night.

The presentation was in appreciation for the effort put forth by the troop in assisting the veterans and their affairs throughout the years.

The presentations took place at the Lihue Hongwanji.
