Ernest Domingo paced the opening game with a two-run homer as K-Makule downed the Big Island 60’s 20-13.
John Taboniar was two-for-two, and Dado Paiste went four-for-four in that win.
Car Quest of Maui was a TKO victim of K-Makule 22-9 with Ali Otlang, two-for-two in the outing, banging a grand slam. Guy Ruiz was four-for-four, Lefty Remata was three-for four, and Doric Remata went three-for-three in that win.
Danny Smith, Taboniar, Stanley Buduan, Dado Paiste, and Marvin Perry finished two-for-three.
K-Makule overcame their toughest opponent of the series, the Vikings of O‘ahu behind five runs in the first inning, and adding four more in the fourth enroute to a 12-7 win.
Lefty Remata, Doric Remata, Guy Ruiz, Taboniar, Buduan, Perry, and Herman Fraticelli notched RBI for the K-Makule first inning runs only to have the Vikings answer with a pair of runs in the second.
Three runs in the seventh iced the win for K-Makule behinds hits from Doric Remata, Ruiz, Smith, Buduan, and Dado Paiste.
K-Makule unleashed their offensive and defensive might to capture the title with a 17-5 win over Kuikahi of Hilo in a sudden death match.
