Camp begins today
The Summer Classic Basketball Camp will begin today.
Today’s clinic will be held for kids ages 6-10.
The camp will run at Kaua‘i High School between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The cost for the event is $10.
The event is for kids who want to have a good time while improving their skills.
Kids should bring basketball attire, a ball, a sack lunch and a signed waiver form from parents.
The July 26 clinic for girls between the grades of 8-12 has been cancelled.
Paradise ride starts Monday
The sixth annual Paradise Ride starts on Monday.
Cyclists will raise funds for Malama Pono and HIV/AIDS work across Hawaii. The ride will take place on Kaua’i’s westside roads. For more information, call Jessica at 246-9577 ext. 34.
League to accept nominations
The West Kauai Youth Baseball League is accepting nominations for League Officer positions to serve out the next two-year term.
