Angelica Wright

Angelica “Beanie” Michelle Wright of Waimea, died at her home on June 27, 2003, at the age of 12.

A student at Waimea Canyon School, she was born July 7, 1990, in Massachusetts.

She is survived by her parents, Herbert Blaise and Brenda Wright/Blaise; sister: Tiffany Jakeman of Waimea; brothers: Anthony Jakeman of Waimea, Michael (Malyssa Garren) Wright of Waimea and Brian Wright of Waimea; one nephew: Tomus Wright; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, July 5, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Where services will be celebrated at noon. Cremation to follow. Casual attire is suggested.

Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.


Margaret Kinores

Margaret Kinores of Oma‘o, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 26, 2003, at the age of 68.

Born in Honolulu on March 21, 1935, she was a janitor at Wilcox School.

She is survived by her caregiver, Lily Jaggers of Oma‘o; two brothers, Peter (Geri) Kinores, Raymond Kinores; one sister, Lucille Ayala; step sisters and brothers: Walter (Pauline) Bacio, Sr., David Marvin Pasciyo, Joann Theresa Quiocho, Gary (Melanie) Bacio, Dennis (Mary) Bacio, Donna (Marcelino) Igaya; cousin, Gloria Figaro.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.


Maili Yardley

Maili Frost Yardley of Lawa‘i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 28, 2003, at the age of 86.

Born in Honolulu on October 5, 1916, she was an Author of Cooking and Hawaiiana.

She is survived by her husband, Paul T. Yardley of Lawa‘i; two daughters, Laura (John Pavia) Yardley of Lawa‘i, Louli (Bill Guy) Yardley of Punalu‘u; son, William “Frosty” (Marci) Yardley of Kamuela; sister, Kina Fields of Sidney, Australia; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 5, 5 p.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Lihu‘e. Reception at the church will follow memorial service. Aloha attire is suggested.

Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.


Filomena Razos

Filomena Nicolas Razos of Kilauea, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 25, 2003 at the age of 83.

Born in the Philippines on February 18, 1920, she was a Homemaker.

She is survived by son, Hipolito (Florie) Razos of Kilauea; three daughters, Rosita Razos of Kilauea, Carmelita Razos of Philippines and Leonarda Billwayen of Kilauea; sister, Herminia Molina of Philippines; 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 7, at the St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kilauea; service officiated by Father Bruce will begin at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at the church cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
