Jeanette Marie Koerte of Hanapepe, died at her residence on May 19, 2003, at the age of 68.
Born in Koloa on Feb. 4, 1935, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her five children: Kathleen (Robert) Kali of Hanapepe, Susan Duarte of California, Johnny (Petra) Furtado of Kapaa, Brenda (Ronnie “Blacky”) Viquelia of Lihue, Michelle Hasegawa of Kekaha; companion for many years: Paul Hasegawa of Hanapepe; mother, Conception “Marie” Medina of Kapaa; two sisters, Eleanore Pontes of Kalaheo, Rose Castillo of Texas; brother, David Koerte Jr. of Kapaa, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 23, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Keahi. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Testelita Guzman of Kalaheo, died on May 9, 2003, at the age of 52.
Born in San Juan Lapog, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on August 20, 1950, she worked at Kauai Kitchen in Lihue.
She is survived by her father: Arnulfo Guzman of the Philippines, three sisters, Benilda (Benigno) Rabbon of the Philippines, Virginia (Orlando) Padilla of Kalaheo, Feletia (Orlando) Cabatu of Oahu, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 22, at the Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m.
