Duo take first place

KOLOA – Ken Miranda and Stanley Joseph Jr. took first place with an average time of 43.60 in the No. 11 class at the United States Team Roping Championships held this past weekend.

Second place went to Audwin Aiohi and Kale Ornellas with an average tme of 50.25 on three go’s.

In the No. 9 class, Stoney Jose and Kiwini Lindsey took first with a time 40.35. Aiwohi and Zanga Schutte were second.

In the No. 8 division, Jerry Stutts and Joseph Jr. were first at 40.56 while Aiwohi and Lindsey were second.

In the No. 8 Gold Plus class, Shawn Aguiar and Lindsey earned the best time of 44.73 while Stutts and Joseph Jr. were second.

In the No. 7 division, first place went to Ross Farias and Hugh Hill with a time of 38.29.

J.J. Joseph and Aguiar took the No. 6 class with a time of 51.99 while Randy Brun and Robert Rita were second.

Aiwohi and Alan Duarte were tops in the No. 5 division with a time of 47.52 while Jeff Cypriano and Marcus Laymon were right behind.

Kurtis Low and Stuart Wellington earned first place in the No. 4 class with a time of 7.12.
