WAILUA – The results from the KMRA motocross held last weekend are as follows.
The race marked the first motocross of 2003 and the last before KMRA ships off to Maui, so many riders felt that they had something to prove. It was evident that the sensation of racing was prominent in each of the riders as they attempted to win each of their classes.
The result: A good day of racing.
The track crew was more prepared than ever when they prepped the track for the event. The straights were tilled, the jumps were mended, and the flagmen posted. With the track in top shape, the riders were confident in their ability to chase the top spot in their motos.
From the minis all the way to the experts, KMRA members longed for the sweet smell of victory. Many did not win their respective motos, but they earned respect from their fellow riders and the spectators for their valiant effort.
Many new faces were seen at the Wailua motocross track, and everyone at KMRA hopes to see many more.
