Boyd Higashi of Kapahi, Kauai, died at home on Dec. 30, 2002 at the age of 46.
Born in Lihue, Kauai on July 6, 1956, he was a Carrier with Federal Express.
He is survived by son, Chavis Higashi of Kapahi; daughter, Brandi Higashi of CA.; father, Harry (Patricia) Higashi, Sr. of Kalaheo; mother, Patsy “Michiko” Higashi of Kapahi; two brothers, Harry Higashi, Jr. of Hanamaulu and Buddy Higashi of Kalaheo, Kauai; four sisters, Lynn Ajimura-Lee of Honolulu, Gail (Bryan) Chun of Kapolei, Karen (Lambert) Alapai of Kapaa and Amanda Higashi of Kalaheo; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 4 p.m. on Sat. Jan. 4, 2003 at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission; service officiated by Rev. Motoyoshi will begin at 5 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
