POIPU – This year, spectators at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf at Poipu Bay Golf Course will have the opportunity to win something themselves – a return visit.
The golf course and the host hotel, Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort & Spa, will sponsor a “Tees Fore Two” contest at the event. The Grand Prize is a room/spa/golf package for two, including two nights at the Hyatt Regency Kauai, two spa treatments at ANARA Spa, and two rounds of golf at Poipu Bay.
Contest entrants must try to guess the number of golf tees inside a large jar that will be on display. The guess closest to the exact number of tees in the jar wins.
No purchase is necessary, and the winner need not be present to win.
The tee jar will be displayed and entries for “Tees Fore Two” will be accepted as follows: Sunday, Nov. 24, at the merchandise tent near the entry to the course; Monday, November 25 (the Pro Am Tournament) at the entry gate to the event; and Tuesday, Nov. 26 (first round of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf) until 12 noon at the entry gate to the event. Entry forms will be collected at noon on Tuesday, with the winning entrant’s name posted in the merchandise tent on Wednesday, November 27 (final round of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf).
The Grand Prize package of hotel accommodations, spa treatments and golf may be redeemed through May 2004, subject to space availability.
