Saburo Morinaka
Saburo Morinaka of Lihu’e, Kauai, died at Wilcox Mememorial Hospital on Nov. 5, 2002 at the age of 82.
Born in Hanapepe, Kaua’i on Feb. 26, 1920, he was a herbicide truck driver with Lihu’e Plantation.
He is survived by wife, Yuriye; two sons, Stanley Hideo (Coleen) Morinaka of Lihu’e, and Stanford Tsutomo (Cynthia) Morinaka of Wailua Homesteads; two daughters, Delvina Marie (Jim) Reed of Ocean Park, Wash. and Lily Masue Morinaka of Lihu’e; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Lihu’e Hongwanji Mission. Service officiated by Rev. Yukiko Motoyoshi will begin at 10 a.m., followed by burial at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.

Yoshiko Kagawa of Waimea, Kauai, died at Kauai Veterans Mememorial Hospital on Nov. 5, 2002 at the age of 90.
Born in Mana, Kauai on Dec. 10, 1911, she was a Homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Howard (Shirley) Kagawa of Indiana and John (Raynette) Kagawa of Waimea, Kauai; two daughters, Ann Kagawa Donahue of Oahu and Mary Kagawa-Walker of Waimea, Kauai; nine grandchildren; brother, Calvin (Fay) Shimaoka of CA; three sisters, Chizue Shimaoka of Oahu, Tamiko Shimaoka of Oahu and Hisae (Yoshio) Matsukawa of Waimea, Kauai; sister-in-law, Doris Shimaoka of Kekaha, Kauai; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Sat. Nov. 9, at the Waimea United Church of Christ; service officiated by Rev. Don Wills will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Irineo Pagtulingan
Irineo Pagtulingan of Lihu’e, Kauai, died on Oct. 27, 2002 at the age of 70.
Born in the Philippines on June 6, 1932, he was a retired McBryde emloyee and co-owner of Sally’s Jewels, Sally’s Creations, Kaua’i Gifts and Kaua’i Snacks.
He is survived by his wife: Rosalia Pagtulingan; three daughters: Lily (Carlos) Giron; Ruby (Doug) McMurren; Arlene Reis; brothers and sisters: Mauro, Pascual, Delphine, Valentin, Jose, Pepito, Pacita and Zenaida. grandchildren: Desiree, Christopher, Dustin, Allie, and Andrew.
Friends may visit with the family on Sat. Nov. 9, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Keahi. Burial will follow at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.
