Freida Wilson died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 10, 2002 at the age of 82.
Born in Waimea, Kaua’i, on Aug. 14, 1919, she was a housewife.
She is survived by son, Melvin A. “Mel” (Eleanor “Ella”) Wilson of Kapa’a, Kaua’i; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, William Blackstad of Alaska; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 1 p.m. on Sun. June 23, 2002 at the Waimea United Church of Christ; service officiated by Rev. Don Wills will begin at 2 p.m. Followed by burial at the church cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested.

Gerald ‘Gerry’Amorin
Gerald “Gerry” Amorin of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, died at Straub Clinic on June 14, 2002, at the age of 63.
Born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i on June 23, 1938, he was an Equipment Operator for the state of Hawai’i.
He is survived by his daughter: Geralee “Puni” Amorin of Lihu’e; two brothers: Stanley (Connie) Amorin of Hanama’ulu; Donald (Janice) Amorin of Maryland, and companion: Healani Mandrigues of Lihu’e; and one granddaughter.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 25, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Keahi. Casual attire is suggested.
