The Kapa’a Warriors will have a nice break from school knowing they clinched a number of major Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation Championships during the 2002 spring athletic season.
The Warrior baseball team fought through a gut-wrenching playoff fight, which culminated into a memorable season and state championship berth, while the Warrior girls basketball team seemed unstoppable throughout the entire season, even in the game they played with only six girls on their roster. To top it off, the Girls Track and Field team took another KIF Championships.
