The Nawiliwili Yacht Club enjoyed their Memorial Day Race from Nawiliwili to Hanalei on Saturday, May 25th with 14 boats sailing in a 5 to 10 knot on-shore breeze.
The light winds caused the 30 mile race to take nearly twice as long as in past years, with the first boat arriving at 4:53 PM after a 9:00 AM start.
A large group of members, friends and family greeted the racers at a potluck party at the Hanalei Pavilion.
