Oligo, a centerfield from Kekaha, Kauai, was the team’s leadoff batter and responded with a team-high .335 batting average and .406 onbase percentage. He was also 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts.
Other awards presented were the Coaches Award (Keola Park, Hilo, Hawaii), Scholar/Athlete Award (Shaun Suzuki, Hilo, Hawaii), Rookie of the Year (Sean Tamura, Kapaa, Kauai) and Golden Glove Award (Jason Castro, Renton, Wash.).
