Dr. Michael Ancharski, a naturopathic physician whose main practice is at the Ohana Health Care Center in Kilauea, has seen the need to begin offering his services one day a week each in Lihu’e and Hanalei.
On Mondays, he is at the Natural Health and Pain Relief Clinic on ‘Akahi Street in Lihu’e, joining Dr. Steve Dubey, Dr. Miles Greenburg and Dr. Lyle Robinson to at least one day a week become the largest naturopathic-staffed clinic in Hawai’i.
On Wednesdays, Ancharski sees patients at the Hanalei Medical Clinic. That clinic’s full-time doctor is Dr. Marilyn Roderick.
Also at Hanalei, at Hale Halawai ‘Ohana ‘O Hanalei across from St. William Catholic Church along Kuhio Highway, Ancharski conducts weekly free lectures on naturopathic medicine, each Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Detoxification and cleansing are the topics of the talk this Thursday, April 25, and on Thursday, May 2, he will discuss natural approaches to depression, anxiety and insomnia.
Restoring female hormone balance is the topic of the Thursday, May 9 talk, and weight loss, the natural way, is the Thursday, May 16 topic. A natural approach to arthritis is the Thursday, May 23 talk, and balancing blood sugar naturally is the Thursday, May 30 topic.
