Waimea High School’s Coordinator School Health Program started a Body Shaping class with the help of our own Athletic Director, James Kitamura and one of our teachers Jo Jo Tanaka. Our classes started back in November 2001, and has successful continued with our school staff, parents and community members. Our classes are every Monday and Wednesday evening in our Waimea High School GYM from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. We recently received a $17,000 dollar donation of Nautilus Equipment from the Pacific Missile Range Facilities (PMRF), and the Sandia National Labs. Donated the delivery to the school.
We will be adding this Nautilus Equipment to our Body Shaping class very soon, our Body Classes are open to every one on the west side community free of charge, just show up or call Rebecca Smith at 338-6810 ext. 102.
