A young ‘Oma’o girl, missing since March 20, is considered a runaway, and is the subject of a Kauai Police Department investigation.
Kaylee Ruiz-Taira, 15, was last seen last month, and the police and Crime Stoppers program are seeking any information the public might be able to provide concerning her safety and whereabouts.
She is five feet, two inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, of Japanese ancestry with brown eyes and black, shoulder-length hair, with a tan complexion.
It is not known whether or not she has access to a vehicle, but it is believed she may have left the island. Her parents are concerned for her safety, according to police.
