Ace Hardware announced recently that Island Hardware in Princeville Shopping Center sold more paint than any other Ace location in Hawai’i last year.
Managers, owners and employees of Island Hardware wanted to send out a warm “mahalo” to all their customers for helping them achieve the statewide milestone.
The store’s paint department is getting a paint job itself, with renovations underway and scheduled to be completed next month.
Island Hardware employees Bill Eldrich and Susan Lyster also recently earned titles of Certified Paint Consultants, indicative of expertise in the field of paint coatings and applications.
The consultants program was developed by the Paint and Decorating Retailers Association, to provide professional advice and instruction to the consultants’ coatings customers.
