Tiger Woods and David Duvall competed in the World Golf Championships in Gotemba, Japan this week, and are now on Kaua’i to compete in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. Woods and Duvall, along with Retief Goosen and David Toms, begin play tomorrow at the Poipu Bay Golf Course.
The Hyatt Regency Kaua’i Resort & Spa is a major sponsor of the event. The Tournament includes the 2001 champions of each of the four majors: Masters (Woods) U.S. Open (Goosen) PGA Championship (Toms) and the British Open (Duval). The Pro Am began Monday morning and will run through the early afternoon. The first round of the tournament begins Tuesday, Nov. 20, and the second and final round concludes on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
