Dad just recently was laid-off at work, and so the
family is dependent on mom’s meager income. Also, because of the lay-off, they
lost benefits to help with healthcare costs. The 4-year-old was recently
hospitalized for a week with an infection.

Bert could use
basics to keep going
Bert is a middle-age male who was homeless for a
number of years. He’s had a couple of physical setbacks but does not ask for
much, just basics to keep on going.
He is trying hard to overcome his
physical and mental difficulties and trying to stay positive. He would like to
be self-sufficient in the near future. He gets general assistance now and is
unable to work.
He could use some personal items, such as bed and bath
linen. He now resides in a shared group home situation.
