woman reported that another Wailua woman was being assaulted in the road by a
man.
8:37 a.m. Police were called to Kuhio Highway in the vicinity of
Wailua Golf Course to rescue a disoriented woman who was walking in and out of
traffic.
9:25 a.m. An Illinois woman’s wallet was turned into the desk
at the Lawai Beach Resort in Po’ipu.
11:17 a.m. An anonymous caller
reported that someone was riding a moped in the Hawaiian graveyard at
Kekaha.
3:46 p.m. A 10-year-old boy suffered a possible broken arm at
the Kapa’a Skateboard Rink.
4:50 p.m. A 40-year-old Kapa’a woman was
arrested for three alleged narcotic offenses.

8:42 a.m. A
woman in Puhi reported two men were fist-fighting in the street.

p.m. A 20-year-old Hanalei woman was arrested for family abuse.

12:15 a.m. Police were called to the Kaua’i Sands parking lot to
disperse a gathering of juveniles.
1:15 a.m. Police were called by
Hyatt security to Shipwreck’s parking lot to disperse a gathering of
juveniles.
10:32 a.m. Police picked up a 15-year-old female
runaway.
3 p.m. A video camcorder was reported stolen by a guest at
Kaua’i Beach Villas.
6:05 p.m. An 11-year-old complained of being
harassed by another 11-year-old at the Hanalei Community teen
center.
10:24 p.m. A burglary was reported at a house in the 4300
block of Hanamauki Road.

12:06 a.m. A 57-year-old Hanalei
man was arrested for driving under the influence.
2:03 a.m. A
25-year-old Waimea man was arrested for intimidating a witness in another
criminal matter.
3:06 p.m. A 35-year-old Lihu’e man was arrested on
three charges relating to failing to register weapons.
4 p.m. An
anonymous caller reported dirt bike riders at Hopii Falls in Kapa’a were
causing a disturbance.
5:30 p.m. A guest at the Embassy Vacation
Resorts in Poi’pu reported items had been taken from her room.

6:58 a.m. A woman reported a vehicle parked on Puu Kaa Street was broken
into and items were taken.
2:27 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a
man behind the Kapa’a Library had an 8-inch knife.
6:18 p.m. A Kilauea
man reported his vehicle was stolen from a restaurant parking lot in
Waipouli.
6:39 p.m. A 29-year-old Kapa’a woman was arrested on four
forgery counts and a theft warrant.
