Finally, the trustees of OHA have united after 20 years of constant
disagreements because their okole’s face the possibility of removal from
office.
Unfortunately, I have a difficult time trying to highlight their
accomplishments other than constant disagreement, always striving to improve
their compensation, taking care of special interest groups and taking numerous
world goodwill tours. Maybe this is the best thing that ever happened for OHA
and the Hawaiian people.
They are forever the clannish politicians. They
immediately seek the advice of former Gov. Waihee, who took the state of Hawaii
down, along with showing no aloha for the education of the children of Hawaii,
especially in his relationship with the Bishop Estate.
Then, they also
seek out attorney McCorrister, who is also only interested in making money,
which he demonstrated while defending the majority Bishop Estate trustees.
Hopefully, this circus will end soon. Notice that the players always
remain the same. The rules don’t change, and maybe with new and different
players, the performance could improve.
We may all get a good laugh for
money. Who knows? Think we can all agree on one thing? It is OK to
disagree!
