Gilbert wants a new stereo
Gilbert is an
easy, outgoing, intelligent male. His needs and wants are very simple. Gilbert
has very little money, does odd jobs when he can get them. He once was very
close to his family, but because of his disability has strayed. Gilbert is in a
positive environment and is getting back on track. He would very much like a
stereo and some CD’s to listen to music to help to relief some of life’s
stress.
Jane needs a little monetary help
Jane Smith, 78, lives
alone. Although she suffers from diabetes and spends a large amount of her
limited monthly income on medications, she manages to maintain a positive and
cheerful attitude. Every month is a challenge for Jane as she tries to make
ends meet for her daily living expenses and needed medications, even with her
food stamps. The holidays would be so special for Jane with some financial help
with her groceries or medications.
Jon would like some groceries
Jon is
an elderly man who lives alone with family support. Until a few months ago, Jon
was able to work part-time to supplement his very low income. Much of his
income goes toward paying for rent, with very little after that for other
expenses, including food. Due to an accident, Jon is unable to work and earn
extra money to help pay for his monthly expenses. Jon would appreciate a gift
certificate for groceries to help make his holidays brighter.
