Kindly allow me to express my feelings in regard to the 31 county heads for
their pay increases. It is stated that someone is expecting from profit of
taxpayers to fund their salary increases.
How about the sewer system that
everyone is paying “Flat Rate” as what their term used long time ago?
It’s not fair that a homeowner living alone pays $68.44 every other month same
as two, three, four, five six, seven, eight or even more in a household. To me,
it’s totally unfair.
Kindly law makers, Council members, representatives
and whoever is involved in this process, let’s make it lawful and just to
everyone. This is what “Me, I, Common Tao” is asking and praying to
be heard.
Isn’t it a fact a long time ago as I recall that there was a
kind of solving problem of this sewer system sent by the county to homeowners?
What happened to it? No follow up whatsoever.
Now is the time to solve
this phenomenon before salary increases. If this is not done, may I humbly ask
voters or non-voters of this island of Kauai to please join me in prayer to the
“One Above Us” for this problem to be resolved and people favoring
salary increases be enlightened by “Our Savior and Redeemer” to have
a fair bill to every sewer user.
Lastly, how about those homeowners whose
sewers were not installed yet, so to be fair and just. In God I (We) Trust.
