Serwa, Phelan give Canada 1-2 finish in Olympic skicross

Kelsey Serwa turned to best friend and Olympic roommate Brittany Phelan in the starting gate before the women’s skicross final and went through the ritual one more time. The Canadian teammates bumped fists then began chanting “Here we go!” in an over exaggerated accent that would sound right at home back in The Great White North.

American women beat Canada 3-2 in SO for gold

Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson scored in the first extra round of the first shootout tiebreaker in Olympic women’s hockey history to give the United States the gold medal with a 3-2 victory over Canada.
