Sandy Poenhelt of The Right Slice said they’ve got a combination between a pumpkin pie and cake. Yep. It’s called a GF Pumpkin Pake. Stephanie Patterson (she works the table at the Kauai Culinary Market Wednesdays) even had the Pumpkin Mochi Pake available Thursday.
Aletha Thomas said she’ll be doing a special fresh cranberry (complete with the popping) thing for Thanksgiving, too. She was supposed to cook the fresh cranberries Friday so check her out at the Kauai Culinary Market and the Kauai Community Market.
Melissa McFerrin said they’re gearing up for the big holiday event with the Kauai Made items coming in at the Kauai Community College. In the meantime, she said the Koloa Elementary School kindergarten singers will join the Ukulele Band in launching its holiday package program Wednesday.
