Elect strong leaders at KIUC
I’m reaching out to start a conversation about leadership on Kauai — how we participate in the process and how we can ensure our values are represented in all sectors of our community. It’s a big issue in my view. Specifically today, in regards to the leadership of our utility cooperative, KIUC.
I’m encouraged to see friends of ours, Peter Yukimura, David Iha and Phil Tacbian with long histories of community stewardship running for office.
Their collective business experience, their connection and accountability in our community is necessary at the board level of KIUC. These men are veterans who have served our country, their families have lived on Kauai for many generations, and they are grandfathers who care about the future for our keiki. Please vote Yukimura, Iha and Tacbian in the upcoming KIUC board election.
Let’s continue to build, protect and preserve our values by actively participating and making our vote count. Let’s support candidates who represent Kauai’s people. Please encourage your children, your neighbors and colleagues to vote and let our collective voices be heard. Thank you for your kokua.
