LIHUE — The Christian community of Kauai will observe Good Friday on April 3. A cross will be carried from the county building parking lot, down Rice Street, then left onto Hardy and up to the War Memorial Convention Center, where Good Friday Service will begin at 7 p.m.
Each church is invited to choose a delegate or two to carry the cross a portion of the way, while the rest of the group follows behind.
“It would be great to have hundreds of people singing praises, carrying signs and banners expressing our love for the Lord,” said a press release.
Everyone will meet at the county building at 5:45 p.m. to start with prayer and then to walk to War Memorial.
