Aida Carbonel
Aida Yelo Yniss Carbonel of Koloa went to be with the Lord and was reunited with her husband, Alfredo Itabac Carbonel, on March 2, 2015. She was born in Honolulu, Oahu, on April 29, 1929.
She is survived by children Lorraine (Mike) Schmidt, Alfredo (Ruth) Carbonel, Albert (Tina) Carbonel, and Arlene (Adolf) Santana; grandchildren Kristie (Marlon) Cadiente, Alison Carbonel, Tasha (Patrick) O’Brien, Ryan Schmidt, Katrina Carbonel, Alec Carbonel, Alan (Katherine) Kalili, Ashleigh Carbonel, Aston Carbonel; great-grandchildren Khloe Miller, Ian Cadiente, Jystin Stiles, Kiani Farias, and Aysen Farias.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015, at Koloa Missionary Church. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family requests aloha attire.
Josefina Aguzar
Josefina Laudencia Aguzar of Kapaa passed away in Garden Isle Health Care on February 26, 2015, at the age of 84. She was born in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines on July 10, 1930, and retired as a Personal Officer with the Philippine Postal Corporation.
Preceded in death by her husband, Calixto Aguzar and son, Arsenio Aguzar.
She is survived by her son, Arturo (Jocelyn) Aguzar of the Philippines; two daughters, Lourdes (Eddie) Obiano of Kapaa and Marie Jo (Frank Taitague) Aguzar of Hanamaulu; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Aguzar family with arrangements.
Kimo Jardin
Kimo Iokepa Jardin passed away on Dec. 1, 2014, at home at the age of 36. Born on Oct. 15, 1978, in Waimea, Kauai, he was a laborer with the State of Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Antone and Helga Kahiapo Caldeira; paternal grandparents, William Jardin and Beatrice Abreu Jardin Capocci; uncles, Tony Caldeira, Kimo Caldeira, Jay Caldeira, and Billy Jardin; and aunt, Ramona Anzai Caldeira.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Heidi of Anahola; sister Ashley Kanoelani of Ewa Beach; uncle Caeser (Kris) Jardin of Kalaheo; aunts, Sandy (Dickson) Inouye, MaeLynn (John) Rita of Kalaheo, Mary (Bobby) Silva of Waimanalo, Carolee (Naka) Nakamura of Kaneohe, Hokulani (Boy) Kila of Nanakuli and Charlotte (Sonny Figaroa) Caldeira of Kekaha; numerous cousins and close friends; and Kimo’s beloved and loyal furry babies, Nohea, Jojo and Mana Boi (RIP 01-02-2015).
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m.

Jeremy Ledward
Jeremy Keli’i Ledward “da HAWAIIAN,” 43, of Kauai, died on Feb. 3, 2015, at Straub Hospital. He was born on Jan. 1, 1972, on Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu, Oahu.
He is survived by his daughter, Kiananapua ‘okai’ulani Ledward, sons, Jeremy Keli’i Ledward Jr. and Kyle Ledward, Na ‘ohana ‘o Makuahine, Mark “Papa Sau” Sausen, and Auntie Louise Sausen, brother Chad Listman, sisters Lehua Listman and Leah Sausen, Na ‘ohana on Makuakane.
He was preceded in death by Makuakane Leonard “Bobo” Tilton, “Mama Ipo” Colleen K. Tilton, brothers Shane K. Tilton and Saffery K. Tilton, sisters Shantel K. Tilton and Stacy K. Tilton, six nieces and nine nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Waimanalo, Oahu, at Alaihi Street “beach access” and Sunday March 29, 2015, in Hanalei, Kauai, at Pinetrees. For both celebrations, visitation begins at 11 am. Services to begin at noon. Scattering of ashes and paddle out and potluck paina to follow.

Agar Parraga of Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii Passed away on March 5, 2015, At the age of 82. Born on June 3, 1932, on Kauai, She was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Isabella Ibaniez; son, Frank Parraga; brother, Solomon Ibaniez; husband, Frank Parraga Jr.; sisters, Sophia and Elsie Ibaniez.
Survived by sisters, Helen Benedicto, Hazel Bukoski, Gloria Balbin brothers, Peter Ibaniez, Absalon “Bobo” Ibaniez Numerous nephews, niece, cousins and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa.
