LIHUE – Motorists are advised that the roadwork planned for next week at the Ulu Maika/Kalēpa Street intersection adjacent to Kukui Grove Center will require lane closures on both streets. The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
LIHUE – Motorists are advised that the roadwork planned for next week at the Ulu Maika/Kalēpa Street intersection adjacent to Kukui Grove Center will require lane closures on both streets.
The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday.
Only one-way traffic will be allowed on Ulu Maika Street and one lane in each direction will be open on Kalepa Street.
Crews from Maryl Group Inc. and Apply-A-Line will be installing new crosswalks, stop bars and directional arrows.
Flagmen will be at the site to direct traffic flow.
Motorists should seek alternate routes, follow all traffic control signs and allow extra time to get to their destinations.
