POIPU — Crazy Shirts has opened at The Shops at Kukuiula.
Founded in 1964, Crazy Shirts were among the first companies in Hawaii to design, manufacture and sell the “T-shirt” as we know it today. In addition to T-shirts, Crazy Shirts offers a variety of casual apparel for men, women and children that include polos, jackets, swimwear, pants, shorts, footwear, jewelry and accessories.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome this internationally recognized retailer into our ohana,” said Helaine Perel, real estate manager of The Shops at Kukuiula.

Crazy Shirts houses the largest printing facility in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, and employs more than 300 employees. The company operates retail stores on all major Hawaiian Islands, as well as stores in California, Nevada, Colorado and Florida.

The Shops also announces the grand re-opening of Palm Palm.
Palm Palm, voted best fashion boutique, brings an exclusive selection of high–quality items by local designers. Each item carried at the boutique must be handmade in Hawaii, the USA or come from a free-trade factory and be exclusive to their store on Kauai. Items that are carried at the store range from jewelry, elegant apparel, hand-painted silks, locally edged wine glasses and much more.
Opening in 2005, the family owned and operated boutique will be occupying a new 927-square-feet space located in A102.
“This move will allow us to be creative and do changes with design and inventory,” said owner Marjorie De Souza. “The new space is right in the center of the village and we couldn’t be happier. Our goal is to continue to evolve and serve by celebrating our vision of the last 10 years and allow us to move forward with a modern, fresh approach.”
