LIHUE — A volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Lihue was arrested Tuesday for one count of first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault.
Erik J. Stevens, 49, Lihue, is being held at KPD cellblock in lieu of $250,000 bail. Police said he sexually assaulted two girls under the age of 14. He has not been formally charged.
Stevens was a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Lihue, according to KPD’s investigation.
KPD said the organization was cooperating with the investigation.
The Boys and Girls Club of Lihue could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
