ELEELE — The Kauai County Housing Agency will provide an update this week on Lima Ola, an affordable housing community with a range of rental and homeownership opportunities that’s planned for Eleele.
“At a time when housing costs continue to climb out of reach for many Kauai families, the County of Kauai is committed to providing affordable housing,” said Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr.
The presentation will be made at two community meetings.
The first one will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Eleele Elementary School cafeteria. The second will be 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hanapepe Neighborhood Center.
The public is invited to provide input at the meetings or via email sent to klperry@kauai.gov. The deadline to submit comments is Nov. 18.
