Argentina ‘dirty war’ killer gets house arrest

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — An 88-year-old former police officer serving a life sentence for crimes against humanity committed during Argentina’s dictatorship was transferred Friday to house arrest in a beach resort following a court ruling repudiated by human rights groups.
