Hilo High School will be playing preseason girls soccer matches on island against the Kauai Interscholastic
Federation.
The Vikings, of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation, begin their Kauai trip today against the defending KIF champion Kapaa High School. The match is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium.
Hilo is then set for a doubleheader on Saturday, starting the day with a morning match against Kauai High School at 10 a.m. at Vidinha Stadium. The Viking will then head west and play Waimea High School at 3:30 p.m. at Hanapepe Stadium.
The preseason trip will end Sunday at Island School. That last match between the Vikings and the Voyagers is set for 8:30 a.m.
The KIF soccer season begins Dec. 9. Waimea will host Kauai High at Hanapepe Stadium, and Island School will host Kapaa in the openers.
