Who let the dogs out at Kaua‘i Humane Society?

Kalohi is a 16-year-old miniature pinscher who was surrendered to Kaua‘i Humane Society a few weeks ago with two of his family members who have all been adopted. This dog received the worst of the injuries during the Sunday break-in, a few puncture wounds. He is doing well and is up for adoption.

An intruder or intruders broke into the Kaua‘i Humane Society near Puhi and released 75 dogs from their kennels Sunday.

PUHI — Staff member Salem Cano arrived at the Kaua‘i Humane Society shelter Sunday morning to discover 20 dogs running loose in the back parking lot.
