The Keahi U10 soccer team from the Kaua‘i Soccer Association finished tops in U10 play at the Aloha International Cup that wrapped up, Sunday on O‘ahu. Fitchett said Keahi was the sole Kaua‘i team playing in that division. The North Shore Strikers played in the U12 division and finished third in that tournament.

Suzanne Kalama and Darlette Wong of the Honolulu U.S. Postal Service offices are looking to fill vacancies Saturday during the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market. The USPS Hawai‘i will be at the Kapa‘a Post Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 21, the next Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market on Aug. 13, and at the Lihu‘e post office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 25.

Stephen Fujii said Kaua‘i Police Department Chief Todd Raybuck is a good guy for letting all those people dunk him during the Touch A Truck event (what? Chief never told you?), and still had time Monday to visit Tommy Rita and all those sports fans at the Kukui Grove Center food court in Lihu‘e.
