LIHU‘E — The county Agency on Elderly Affairs is accepting registrations for its Diabetes Self-Management Workshop series, and invites kupuna ages 60 and older to apply.
Developed by Self-Management Resource Center, the program is designed to provide support and build confidence in the participants’ abilities to manage their diabetes while maintaining active lives.
The workshop series will run for six weeks starting Wednesday, June 22, every Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. via telephone conference call. Pre-registration is required and is limited to eight participants. To register, contact Johnny Yago at 808-241-4898 or jyago@kauai.gov.
