Beth Tokioka of the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative delivers a portion of 640 pounds of rice, both white and brown varieties, to Michelle Panoke of the Hawai‘i Foodbank, Kaua‘i Branch, Tuesday. The rice was donated as KIUC prepares for its annual meeting. Panoke said, “We’re fortunate for the support, enabling the Hawai‘i Foodbank, Kaua‘i to feed the one in five people on Kaua‘i wh struggle with food insecurities.”
