In another joint operation, marshals and police conducted a sexual-offender-compliance check consisting of 141 registered sex offenders.
They found that 126 individuals were in compliance, 14 are pending further verification (and considered to be houseless) and one was non-compliant. The non-compliant case will be referred to the county Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for further action.
Why are most wanted for Contempt of Court and Failure to Appear.
Maybe send the Taxi or Uber to help them not be Contempt or Fail to Appear, cheaper and better service, gets the job done on time.
Kudos to law enforcement for doing their jobs! Why would u risk putting rideshare and taxi drivers in situations of uncertainty? Which could alternatively put other innocent individuals in possible danger?

Responsibility for illegal actions of others should never be bestowed upon others to be solved. Leave it to law enforcement…if and when non-compliance is the issue. Agents are doing their jobs to keep our Islands safe and sound! Be mindful, keep the peace and trust the process.
Sounds like you have no idea of the caliber of these individuals and what they do. No matter what you offer most of them, they will not attend court to face the consequences of their actions.
Unfortunately, this is the only way to get them before a judge (Most of these guys are still committing crimes in all of our neighborhood)
It’s a shame that our society doesn’t help it’s most unfortunate members. Yes, these people probably broke some laws but you’ve ever been down to the courthouse for even some minor infraction, you know just how difficult and convoluted the system can be. It is so much more difficult if the offense is more severe. These poor folks have little to no chance of getting out of drugs and crime, but it’s the court shitstem that is deliberately designed to make every single attempt to better oneself , near impossible. If you are on drugs and alcohol at the same time , your chances of escaping that world are next to nothing. Cast no stones , everyone makes mistakes and what we need to start doing is at least feeling empathy for these lost souls, if not seeing how we as a community can proactively fix this. Thank you.
