Tommy Rita already has his eye on the National Football League Super Bowl in 2022, since the event will be in Los Angeles, and Ernie Domingo and Ronnie Matsumura had to get a bigger table because Ernie had guests for lunch at KGC Friday.
Kudos to Chyenne Beach (she tried to pull a “Lee Remigio” on the Camper) and the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i Branch ‘ohana on the latest Na Ho‘omaku Hou pop-up food distribution that played out at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center, where all those pickle ballers were escaping the rain in Hanapepe (good thing The Salvation Army Hanapepe Corps’ Lt. Amy Lewis had the day off so she could help at the food distribution). No, Scotty Vidinha wasn’t playing this day.
Rowena Cobb was already retired, but couldn’t stay away from the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank’s employee distribution for associates with the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort &Spa in Po‘ipu, that already had a big compliment of workers on line in anticipation of Monday, April 5, when Kaua‘i rejoins the state’s Safe Travels program. Kudos to Kelvin Moniz and his KIFB ‘ohana, East Kaua‘i Lions Club (Janice Bond was thrilled her four Cubs were in attendance), and the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i on a great distribution.
