Harold Dwight “Danny” Frazier
Harold Dwight “Danny” Frazier was born on Feb. 25, 1958 to Clarence and Ophelia Frazier in Hohenwald, Tennessee.
“Danny” as he was lovingly known to his family and home town, attended Lewis County High School, graduating in 1977. He excelled in football and was active with his community church.
Shortly after graduating high school he joined the U.S Navy and traveled the world before his final duty assignment at Barking Sands in Kauai where he remained for 40 years.
He became known in Kauai as “Frazier.” He was involved with the Kauai NHRA drag racing community for over 25 years and was an avid car lover. He also enjoyed fishing off-shore and trolling or bottom fishing whenever he could. He loved the many roosters he raised and groomed. It seemed everywhere he traveled he would run into people that knew him and would always be asked if he had a bottle of his car polish that he formulated and perfected.
Frazier is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ophelia Frazier, grandparents Matt and Willie Mae Brown, numerous aunts and Uncle Fred T. Brown, also his Great Aunt Mary Ella Harris, also known as Aunt May, who was a large influence in his life and helped to guide him to become the man that he was. He spoke of her daily.
He is survived by his devoted and loving son Adam, step-son Ilde Panoncillo, sister Chris D. Corbin (Ronnie) of Louisiana, nephews Jovan and Vidall, brothers Jackie (Phyllis Tickle) R. Frazier, Curtis Frazier both of Centerville, TN, nephews Mario, Brandon and Brent, brother Terry Frazier of Spokane, WA, Aunts Caroline Brown and June Brown, also of Centerville, TN, special cousin Tammie Johnson Scates and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Frazier is also survived by his loving best friend and “other half” Mary S. Katahira as well as her children: Kyle (Kalea Pereza) and Alison (Jason “Bubba” Poe HooiKaika) and grand children.
Frazier passed to a peaceful paradise on March 14, 2021. He was loved by many and will be terribly missed.
A private scattering of his ashes will be held at a later date.
Guillermo Fabro Tejada
Guillermo Fabro Tejada passed away on March 1, 2021 at the age of 76 on Kauai.
He was born on June 10, 1944 in the Philippines.
He was a Carpenter & Maintenance Worker.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Josefina Cabradilla Tejada, sons Guillermo (Mary Jane Fernandez) Tejada, Jr. of Hanamaulu and Joeffrey Cabradilla Tejada of Kapaa, daughters Maya Josephine (Joel) Tejada Roldan of Kapaa, Glenda (Marlon) Tejada Igaya of Hanapepe and Jona (Lucky Thammavongsa) Tejada of Kapaa, grandchildren Jonathan Tobey Fernandez Tejada, Morgan Joy Tejada Igaya, Kameron Ryder Tejada Igaya & Cedric Johann Fernandez Tejada and by numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
A visitation will take place at Garden Island Mortuary on March 27, 2021 from 9:00-10:30am with a celebration of Life to follow.
Casual attire, flowers welcome.
Dues to COVID-19, social distancing & masks are required.

John Katsumi Iwamoto
John Katsumi Iwamoto, 92, of Hanamaulu passed away at home on March 15, 2021. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on November 1, 1928 and retired as an Electrical Inspector with the County of Kauai. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War and decorated with a Purple Heart and Silver Star.
John is survived by his wife, Asako Iwamoto of Hanamaulu, 3 children, Lynne (Brian) Takahara of Hilo, Kyle (Alison) Iwamoto of Oahu, Eric (Patty) Iwamoto of Seattle; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Henry (Sachie) Iwamoto of California; sister-in-law, Doris Iwamoto; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date. Family graciously declines Koden and flowers.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Nancy Namiko Talbo
Nancy Namiko Talbo of Lihue Kauai passed away peacefully with family members by her side on March 14, 2021.
She was born on June 13, 1935 in Moloaa, Kauai. She was preceded in death by parents Takejiro and Thelma Nakamasu, brother Earnest Nakamasu, and sisters Florence Wakuta, Stella Miyoshi, and Frances Ishikawa.
She is survived by her husband Andy Talbo, children Ayrick Talbo of Nevada, Gordon (Sharon) Talbo, Sheane (Melvin) Talbo-Mandrigues, Debra Ventura, Dorraine (Drew) Brumbaugh of Iowa, and hanai son Dean Oshiro. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Private Services will be held by the family.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Anson A. Abalos
Anson A. Abalos passed away on February 12, 2021 at the age of 63 in Waimea, Kauai.
He was born on December 4, 1957 in Waimea, Kauai. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force & a Project Manager with Kawailoa Development.
He was preceded in death by his father: Dominador Abalos, Sr.
He is survived by his sons Anthony Abalos of Hanapepe, Aaron Abalos of Pakala, daughter Andrea Abalos (Tiara) of Eleele, mother Amparo Abalos, brothers George Abalos (Karleen) of Kapaa, Dominador Abalos, Jr. (Marlyn) of Kapaa, sister Allison Hiranaka (Brad) of Lihue and by numerous uncles aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins
Walk through visitation will be held at Garden Island Mortuary on April 3, 2021 from 9:00-10:00am. There will be a Celebration of life to follow from 10:00-10:30am.

Heather Lee Ayon
Heather Lee Ayon, 46, passed away on March 01, 2021. She was born on April 30,1974, in Covina, California.
Heather is survived by her daughter, Jada Monet Ayon, 25 of Koloa and son, Jovan Ronnie Powell 17, of Reseda, California.
She is also survived by her parents, Shirley and Frank Ayon of Kalaheo, eldest sister, Deborah Ann, husband Brian Carroll, middle sister, Rebecca Lynn, nephew, Edward Repsha, wife, Blackbird, grand-nephew, Oliver Brennecke, grand-niece, Cloud Janice and niece Skyla Rae Bowne as well as numerous friends on Kauai and uncles and aunties, cousins in California.
A Memorial service will be held at Kalaheo Missionary Church 4480 Kokua Road, Kalaheo on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 10 am. Aloha attire is encouraged.
Private spreading of ashes Celebration of Life will follow the service.
Gloria Jean Funston
Gloria Jean Funston, 80, died peacefully on March 12, 2021 in Yakima, Washington. Gloria was born Gloria Valera Manipon in Lihue, Hawaii on November 8, 1940.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, T.C. and Susie Manipon, brother Dennis, and daughter Cynthia.
She is survived by three children: Kimo (Kris) Funston of Stanwood, WA, Todd (Mary) Funston of Stanwood, WA, and Valerie (David) Barnett of Selah, WA; grandchildren McKenzie (David) King, Sara, Blake, Ben, Thomas, Ella, and Brittany; great-grandchildren Hunter & Emma as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this year.
