KOLOA — The county Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced that multiple sections of Koloa Road are scheduled for lane closures from Tuesday, Jan. 19 to Friday, Jan. 22.
KOLOA — The county Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced that multiple sections of Koloa Road are scheduled for lane closures from Tuesday, Jan. 19 to Friday, Jan. 22.
There will be no work on Maluhia Road this week.
In observance of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, there will be no work on Monday, Jan. 18.
Multiple sections of Koloa Road will be under a single-lane closure for shoulder construction and pavement work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dates and times are subject to change depending on weather and other factors.
As a reminder, ‘Oma‘o Road is a narrow, residential road that is not intended to be used as a detour route and not designed for high volumes of traffic or truck traffic. The speed limit is 25 mph for the entire length of ‘Oma‘o Road. Through trucks are prohibited on ‘Oma‘o Road for the duration of this project.
