The Kauai Masonic Lodge is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s scholarship essay contest. An annual $1000 scholarship is open to public high seniors and one is awarded at each public high school. A $100 Benjamin Award is also awarded to an underclassman at each public high school.
The Kauai Masonic Lodge is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s scholarship essay contest. An annual $1000 scholarship is open to public high seniors and one is awarded at each public high school. A $100 Benjamin Award is also awarded to an underclassman at each public high school.
This year’s winners are Tu Nguyen, Kapa‘a High; Rachel Dressler, Kaua‘i High; and Kallen Wachi, Waimea High.
The $100 Benjamin Awards go to Lacie Binongial, Kapa‘a High and Keali‘imalu Kaawa High. Unfortunately there was no applicant from Kaua‘i High for the Benjamin Award.
The awards ceremony and luncheon for the winners, their parents counselors and Masonic Lodge members had been scheduled for April 4, 2020 , but was cancelled due to the corona virus developments.
